“Ashley was so helpful in getting us prepared for the birthing experience. We met 3 times before the birth & it was always a great experience. She offered vital support during an important time in our lives by providing resources, answering questions, ensuring we felt prepared & generally being nurturing & kind. I highly recommend Ashley if you're looking for a doula. We are so thankful for this lovely experience & getting to work with such an amazing doula and human being.”

Why Hire a Doula?
The presence of a doula at your birth offers numerous benefits such as:
More positive birth outcomes: Numerous studies show that having a doula present during labor statistically results in shorter labors, less need for pain-relief medication, fewer medical interventions, and a lower chance of an unplanned C-section.
Prenatal and Postpartum support: In addition to continuous support during labor, I also provide valuable support before and after birth. Should you have any questions or need a referral, I am available by phone/text/email with informational and emotional support as needed. Our prenatal and postpartum sessions ensure you have all the resources and preparation necessary to confidently enter your birthing and parenting journey. Having a doula on your birth team means you have access to an experienced birth professional whenever you need to consult or get support.
The presence of a doula enhances your partner or support person’s experience and offers them flexibility during labor. I can teach and guide them in providing effective hands-on techniques. My presence also gives them the opportunity to take breaks. Meanwhile, you will still have continuous support.
More positive birth experience: Regardless of the type of birth you are planning, the presence of a doula can be beneficial. My primary role is to help you feel safe, supported, informed, and heard throughout the process.
